Join Meg Hamilton, MA, LPC and Cassie Hamrick, MAAT, LPCA for an art-based workshop focused on providing mental health services for LGBTQIA+ communities in the Triangle. Discussion will include an introduction to diversity in gender and sexuality, an overview of gender affirming approaches to care, and a summary of the local landscape of care for LGBTQIA+ communities. Participants will leave with a better understanding of LGBTQIA+ dynamics and needs, as well as resources for providing affirming support.

ATI is an NBCC provider, and continuing education credits are available for mental health professionals for a small fee.

The Art Therapy Institute (ATI) has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6567. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. ATI is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
