April 11, 2019 @ 6:30PM — 8:30PM
This event is part of a monthly continuing education series run by the Art Therapy Institute. **4/5 Update: The location of the workshop has been changed. It will now be held in the big conference room at YouthWorx on Main in Carrboro on the same date and time.
Soul Collage is a fun, creative collage process in which a person creates a personal "deck" of collage cards. In this introductory workshop, we'll explore the four suits of Soul Collage and discuss how Soul Collage could be used by an art therapist. Afterwards, you will have a chance to create your own Soul Collage card (or more!).
ATI is an NBCC provider, and continuing education credits are available for mental health professionals for a small fee.
The Art Therapy Institute (ATI) has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6567. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. ATI is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
If a participant would like to express a concern about their experience with Art Therapy Institute, they may call or e-mail ATI's Executive Director, Hillary Rubesin, PhD, REAT, LPC-S at (919) 381-6068 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Although we do not guarantee a particular outcome, the individual can expect us to consider the complaint, make any necessary decisions and respond within 10 business days.
** The nominal registration fees required for these workshops support ongoing community programming. Please note refunds are only offered if the workshop is canceled by The Art Therapy Institute.
